The house has a beautiful bath, though it is not connected to an onsen source. The bath has a small private garden view and is a lovely place to relax.

What is nearby?

Nestled up on a hill across from a stream, the house is in a small residential street with a handful of neighboring homes. The layout of the house provides plenty of privacy. Marine Town shopping area with restaurants, a Don Quijote (groceries, everyday necessities, and so much more), and other small restaurants are within a five minute walk.

What is there to do in and around Itō?

The Izu Peninsula is full of natural beauty and plenty of sights to see. We love this location because it is close enough to the city to be a quick weekend getaway, and puts all of Izu’s activities within reach as easy day trips. There are beaches, hiking trails, museums, intriguing geological formations, and every season has something to offer. We would be glad to help you plan some activities for your trip!

That said, the house provides such a relaxing atmosphere that we also love to stay home to watch the sea, read, cook in the well-appointed kitchen or barbeque on the gas grill out back. The bath is also a very attractive feature and a wonderful place to unwind.
